GeneCoder Molecular Biology Software has several pre-programmed sequences commonly used in molecular biology. These can be accessed by running the View Common Sequences tool. The list can be expanded by running the Add Common Sequence tool.
These sequences can be used not only as a reference, but also to search other sequences for their presence/absence. The Find Common Sequence tool searches for every common sequence in the opened sequence using sequence alignment.

This tool can be invaluable when one receives a un-annotated sequence, as annotation is just one click of the button away, helping to identify selection markers, common oligo locations, origins, promoters, etc...
