Transformations

All Models may be scaled, rotated, and translated.

1) To rotate a model, either select the rotation icon in the toolbar, or go to Model -> Rotate. Drag the mouse over the viewer to rotate the model. Depending upon the rotation mode selected, models can be rotated about its center-point on the x-axis, y-axis, and/or z-axis. Please note that these axis move based upon previous rotations.

2) To scale a model, either click on the scale in or Scale Out icons in the toolbar, or go to Model -> Zoom In/Out. The zoom scale can be set to varying degrees: go to Model -> Zoom Scale and select the relative number to set the zoom scale.

3) To translate a model, either click on the translate icon in the toolbar, or go to Model -> Translate. Drag the mouse over the viewer to translate the model. You may also translate the model by dragging the mouse while holding down the control ('ctrl') key.
