Search for a PDB File
PDB files are standardized file types that specify macromolecular structures resulting from studies using x-ray diffraction or NMR specrometry. These files are deposited into a database provided by the Resources for Studying Biological Macromolecules (RCSB). You can visit RCSB to browse, search, and download PDB files. To use VistaPDB to search for PDB Files:
1) go to Tool -> PDB Search
2) enter your search terms and press search
3) Select one or more files to download.
Searches utilize the National Center for Biotechnology Information databases. Downloads occure via RCSB. Internet access is required1.
