Stick Models

Stick Models are an ideal way to analyze macromolecular structures. The models give an excellent representation of bonds, local, and global interactions. VistaPDB supports Side Chain and Main Chain rendering, measurements between atoms, and residue selections. Coloring of individual atoms is standard, the default colors:

Carbon: White
Nitrogen: Blue
Oxygen: Red
Sulfer: Yellow
Phosphate: Green

To View a stick model, go to Layers -> Stick and select Main Chain, Side Chain, or Full Model Representation.
